Tuttz Tee

Well then the cats out of the bag - here's the cheeky side project I've been working on with Mr Argonaut:

'Just wanted to send you guys and gals the exclusive and latest news at Argonaut Resins - I'm now producing tshirts with collabos with selected artists and the first one is with Rich Page who also won the 'Win a free OG Tuttz' art contest. He was chosen by Jaime who ran the contest over at her Kollectible Kulture site. A lot of artists slept on the contest and the hidden jem was I was going to pick one of the designs to turn into a limited Tuttz Tee! Rich's design knocked me out and he agreed to do the Tuttz Ankh logo in the same style for the back of the Tee to cap off a really nice looking shirt overall.

These first shirts (white Tee / black ink with 3 imprint areas, front back and left sleeve) will be only 30 pieces, numbered and tagged and will go for $24.99 (includes shipping for US ONLY - overseas shipping will cost more depending on where it's going). Sizes for the Tee are Medium, Large and XLarge (I may do small on a pre-order basis not sure as of yet). I will be putting them up in the Argonaut Resins online store this Monday August 23 at Noon est. time.'

Painted

Got home from work with my lunchtime purchase of a little pot of Citadel Chaos Black paint and cracked out the brushes on BoneHead. Happy how he turned out. Going to dry brush some highlights and add some washes but apart from that he's done... for now.

Drew this for my Skull-a-day drawing project the other day and thought I use some clay and make him 3D.

Above is the wire frame a made for him - think he looks funny as is.

The trainers on the original drawing had an old skool hip-hop style so I thought I'd build on that vibe and add a BoomBox.

Next stop - the rest of the sculpt...

Finishing up

Well here Martin is - soaking up the sun in the garden on his fresh paint. Happy how he turned out and the finish the paint has given.

I got some great advice on paint from a local gaming shop Maelstrom games (found via ebay) - If you want any kind of paint etc I rate these guys they know what they are on about.

I haven't posted for a while (lot's of things to keep me away from blogging) so here's some new work.

Mr Martin Longbottom. He was the doodle that launched my new sketch book on Friday - but he looked to lonely sat in his flat 2D world so I got out my sculpey and got on with making him.
